AKIHABARA is very famous of sales of advanced electronic apparatus, appliances,
devices, software, and of amimation and MOE girl fashion, too.
It is a small district around AKIHABARA JR station of Yamanote loop line.
Many foreigners as well as Japanese often get there to buy the most advanced
digital
cameras, video cameras, computers, video games, etc. at a reasonable price
and/or
to visit animation shop and MOE fashion cafeteria, Japanese subcultures
well known
worldwide. We have a big YODOBASHI-CAMERA shop outside the eastern exit
of the station, where we can see all kind of electronic apparatus in a
single building.
Of course, we can enjoy shopping free of duty there in many shops at the
both side
of the station.
It takes four minutes by train to get to AKIHABARA station from TOKYO
by JR YAMANOTE loop line, and also by HIBIYA and GINZA subway lines.
