Peony is called " Botan" and one of the most elegant and glamorous flowers in Japan.
There are two kinds de peonies, spring and winter ones.
Spring peony gets in bloom in April and May after cherry blossoms fall and
winter peony from October to January in Tokyo.
We say that peony represents the beauty of lady due to its elegance and glamour.
